Okay, so actually, this isn't a total rip-off. It's actually much less fun. But yeah, I just thought it would be interesting to know what annoys &/or makes you guys mad. Beyond the obvious curiousity, I though it would be nice to know this sort of thing before we were actually living together (so that some unnecessary arguments can be avoided). And for those of you that won't be pod-ites, I'm also interested in your response just because I'm horribly nosy.
1)People being condescending makes me mad.
2)Annoying/sleazy customers hitting on me at work makes me mad and annoys me.
3)People tailgating me annoys me (which is bad because I totally tailgate people too), and...
4)people cutting me off annoys me (I don't really do that though).
5)Having no time by myself makes me really cranky (and by that I mean somewhat evil), but I'm not usually the first to notice.
6)People being inconsiderate of other people's time annoys me and can make me mad if it happens a lot.
Umm. I'm out for the moment. So let me know your personal pet-peeves.

A big one for me... and y'all might not know this because I'm sure I've never told you about *coughcough...
Lack of communication. If I do something, I can't fix it until I know. If I'm mad about something you can't fix it until I tell you.
I say that dumb girls bother me a lot, and what I mean by that most of the time is girls (or anybody, really) that don't realize they can just talk about things. People are really quite reasonable when they just talk about things honestly without pretense. Honest communication... plus one (or more!). Sheesh. : )
Well...let's see. The first one that comes to mind is...
*legalism/conservativism in the church. That really gets me riled up.
*I get annoyed with people using psychological terms lightly, like 'oh my gosh, i'm so OCD' and such. *Chaotic situations involving lack of decisions and lots of noise (although i'm the world's worst decision maker)
*Couples making out by the door to the dorms
*There's more I'm sure but I'm kinda sleepy....
So I thought I would add to my list.
1) Parents who leave their children alone in the kid's section at Hastings while they wander around the store. (You can't really get mad at small, abandoned children for making a mess. Their parents, however....)
2) People who open the porn magazines, read them in the store, and leave them all over the place.
3) People who make me search all over for a book and then decide not to get it.
4) Being angry/frustrated/upset (whatever) and not knowing how to articulate my feelings, or really knowing how exactly I do feel.
The first three just annoy me (most of the time). The fourth makes me mad at myself, not other people, even though I do take it out on Marcella sometimes.
Well, I'm glad that we all seem to have a positive tendency as there are only 6 comments on the 'what I don't like' post and 26 comments on the 'what i like' post. You're never fully dressed without a smile. ;)
Mel, you crack me up. : ) You're a lovely young lady, and I'm glad I know you.
I can't wait until we get to school so we (a lot of us, anyway) can start figuring out what really does bug us! : ) I'm pretty much excited.
AAAAAHHHHHH. Hummer's drive me nuts too!!!!! Who would spend that much money on something that is so un-environmentally friendly and screams "look at me. I'm rich." AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
*calm voice*
Thank you for sharing your feelings, Nancy.
Grrr, Donald, now I have to rethink my assumptions! I really hate doing that . . . I guess that means that one of my pet peeves is finding out I've been wrong. seriously, i hate that. (but i appreciate the information :D)
other pet peeves . . . telephones!!!!
waking up particularly early in the morning
incompetence particularly from my bosses
someone complaining when they're too lazy to actually try and change anything
being pressured
Oh, Donald. Making us rethink our prejudices. I guess that's good, although I'm not so sure that I like it.
But may I ammend my statement? I would like to extend my rant to all SUVs and trucks that are driven by people who don't actually need them. And I realize that this is slightly hypocritical, since I drive a Jeep Cherokee, but in my defense I did not select or pay for the car. It was a gift, and my two choices were Jeep or no vehicle. But I still think that those types of vehicles, including Hummers still, are wasteful. So right or wrong, I'm clinging to my prejudice.
But thank you, Donald.
Random insertion: i want a cool proflie picture like sexy and donald! how do i get one?
ha! oh my.
hehe. thanks, donald! back on track: people who won't take the time to answer questions bother me, which is bad because i totally don't. :-P
I just wanted to observe that we are no approaching the same number of comments as Melanie's post. And when comparing, don't count this comment cuz that would be cheating on my part. But my profound point is HA. Oh, and someone should post something new now. I am bored of this.
